WHAT CAN I READ NOW?

Some suggestions for 9-11 year olds.

This page is a list of books that are written at a suitable reading level for children aged between 9-11 years. The content is considered to be appropriate for this age group.

These are books that are part of our library collection, you can check their availability by clicking on the title.

Many of the authors of these books have written several books, so if you find an author that you like, you may wish to read other books that they have written. Always remember, that authors write books for a variety different age groups, so not all of their books will be suitable for you. Choose every book you read carefully by:

        • Looking at the cover
        • Reading the blurb
        • Looking at the font, the layout and the illustrations
        • Do the five finger test

Use the OPAC to search for authors that you may wish to read more of.
